Anita Tregner-Mlinaric is a Senior Consultant and Policy Officer based in Bruxelles, with more than 15 years of work experience in various sectors and has long-lasting experience in management and implementation of EU and international projects.
When it comes to international projects, Anita has implemented economic growth and development-oriented projects in South East Europe and Eurasia on behalf of international donors such as UNDP, OSCE, USAID and the U.S State Department. Owing to vast EU projects’ experience dating from FP6, particularly in the field of research and innovation, Anita is a recognized expert in the field of European policies, including Regional, European Neighbourhood and Enlargement policies, internationalisation practices and advocacy, with a good track record of projects. Due to work in the public affairs domain, a specialist in European public and regulatory affairs and policies, investor relations, advocacy campaigns and strategic communication, business to government communication and political intelligence.
Member of the Advisory Board of several initiatives with focus at the Western Balkans, Vice Chair of the H2020 Advisory Board of Marie-Sklodowska Curie Actions for period 2018-2020 at the European Commission, Member of the International Association of Women’s Specialists for European Policies and REGIO-CEI-AMI expert at the European Commission. Anita possess an in-depth knowledge of the institutional and operational framework of EU institutions and the processes gained through personal interaction and cooperation with the institutions in Bruxelles as well as of the Western Balkans (including political, administrative and economic context). Anita is an experienced moderator and key note speaker, coach, published author of numerous reports, articles and policy briefs.
